ABOUT ME
Instructional Designer
eLearning Developer
Multimedia Producer
I’m a lifelong learner who loves facing new challenges and developing new skills. I’m always trying to master new software, expand my capabilities, and perfect my craft. Whether it’s reading a book on UI design or taking a course on Lynda.com, much of my free time is spent learning. I love working as part of a team and find that collaboration with other professionals leads to more creativity and a better product. I have led large teams and enjoy project management, but I’m also perfectly happy working on smaller projects and as a solo instructional designer.

MY SKILLS
Instructional Design
I love transforming raw information into engaging, dynamic training products. I stay up-to-date on adult learning theories including cognition and memory retention research in order to create participatory, user-driven learning experiences. Whether it’s Instructor-led, online, blended, or mobile learning… I’m your guy.
e-Learning Development
I’ve published dozens of hours of e-learning courses in Articulate and Captivate authoring software. I utilize rapid prototyping, storyboarding, flowcharts, and wireframes to quickly take a project from concept through testing. My deep understanding of technical requirements for SCORM conformance and Section 508 compliance means your courses play seamlessly on LMSes and meet the needs of differently-abled users.
Multimedia Production
I’ve created media products for companies large and small including graphic design, video production, motion graphics, animation, web design, games, and apps. Coming from a Hollywood film production background, I understand that today’s learners are sophisticated media consumers who expect exciting visuals, strong narrative, and an easy user experience.
Project Management
Whether it is managing a large team on a complex multimedia project, or simply managing myself, I always ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained. Project management skills include human resource management, timeline creation, resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting. Because I understand the media and instructional design development process on a micro level, I’m able to effectively manage large and diverse teams and ensure that resources are being allocated as efficiently as possible.
